The patented robot application automatically generates optimal tire palletizing patterns for any tires. First, a 3D vision sensor measures the tire geometry in three dimensions. Then the load carrier type, the number of tires, and the desired tire palletizing pattern (chain, chimney, roll) must be communicated to the tire palletizing software. Based on this input information, the PALGO@Tire tire palletizing software creates the optimal tire palletizing pattern. It guarantees you a high packing density and provides considerably more space volume compared to a chimney or roller palletizing pattern. The symmetrical design of the tire palletizing pattern means that a double tire gripper can be used with the robotic solutions. This enables a throughput of 600 tires per hour and robot.
