Robotic Carton Palletizing accelerates the dispatch of goods
In many companies shipping units of different sizes and weights have to be arranged to a mixed pallet. AROTEC automated this task with the help of its mixed palletizing software PALGO mix. The mixed palletizing software guarantees a stable loading of mixed pallets - and ensures a maximum degree of space utilization.
AROTEC also implemented a master computer that coordinates several robotic palletizers. With this palletizing system, which has proven itself over many years with excellent results, our customer was able to significantly increase output: In 2-shift operation, up to 5,500 packages per cell are palletized daily.
The mixed palletizing solution at a glance:
- Fully automatic mixed palletizing system with 4 robots
- Output: approx. 360 packages / hour and robot
- Package dimensions: between 280 x 180 x 115 mm (11 x 7 x 4.5 inches) and 730 x 370 x 300 mm (28 x 14.5 x 4.5 inches)
- Package weight: 500 g to 30 kg (3.5 oz to 66 lbs)
- Palletizing height: 1.8 m (71 inches)
AROTEC system components:
Robot Master Computer (RMC) for controlling the entire palletizing system and communicating with the peripherals (robot, conveyor technology, MFC, PLC), visualization for displaying and controlling the system status (web-browser based) and the mixed palletizing software PALGO mix for online calculating optimized mixed pallet loading.
